Feature & Follow #16 ~ Cause Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

I'm so excited to finally be joining Feature and Follow Friday!! Q: Have you broken up with a series? If so, which one and why?

I can't really think of one to be honest. I haven't read the last two books in the Sookie Stackhouse series, but from what I'm seeing around the blogosphere, tons of people are upset with the way the last book was written. So maybe that will end up being a series I break up with. I really hope not, though, 'cause I love Sookie. I don't want to be horribly disappointed by the end of the series, eek!

I can't wait to read everyone's answers! Have you broken up with a series?

    1. She didn't appeal to me at first, either, but once I read the first book, I was hooked. Thank you for stopping by and following! :D

  3. Ah yes, Sookie. I listed this series too! And I read the explosion of comments on the series ender. Wow. I might finish it too because there's nothing like the first 9 books. Here's my FF.

    1. I couldn't think of an answer this week honestly because I tend to finish things. It would probably bother me if I didn't finish a series unless there were fifty thousand books in it. :) I need to read last year's book - I haven't had a chance to read even that one yet! :O lol

  4. Seeing this one a bit! I've stuck with Sookie for a long time, too stubborn to give it up after reading it for so long. There were a few close calls. Still have to read the finale though!

    1. I've enjoyed the series so far - I haven't read the last two books yet, but I'm almost afraid of reading the last one. I hope it doesn't make me hate the entire series! Thanks so much for stopping by! :D

  5. Same here. I haven't read so many series, so I can't think of anyone I've broken with. I haven't heard of the Sookie Stackhouse series yet. Maybe I'll check it out.

    1. I really like the series and am just hoping the last two books don't end up making me hate the whole series. I don't want to feel like the ending is so bad I wasted my time with all of the other books. I've seen a lot of bad reviews, so I'm nervous, lol.

      Thanks for visiting! :D

    1. I'm sorry to hear that! I like Sookie too much to give up on her myself. I think it would probably bother me if I didn't finish a series. I don't think I've ever DNF'ed a book before either. It would probably stay on my mind until I ended it, lol. Thanks for stopping by and following! Following you back! :D

    1. That has been happening to me a lot. I think that must be why I had a difficult time answering this week. Plus, I'm not sure I could DNF a book much less a series. It would bother me I think. Thanks for stopping by! I'm following your blog! :D

    1. Yeah, I think if I really wanted to finish, I'd make time for it. But I am swamped with review books, too, lol. Thanks for following! I'm following you back on Bloglovin' also. :D

  12. I was ok with how Sookie ended. I wasn't that fond of book 11-12 but I think Dead Ever After wrapped up the series nicely and was how I envisioned it was going to go. :)

    1. I hope you find books you love so much you won't want to put them down. :D Even though I don't take my own advice because apparently I'm a bit OCD or something, I think life's too short with too many books to read to make yourself finish a book you aren't enjoying. You're welcome, and thank you! :D
