Feature & Follow #17 ~ Spinal Poetry Love

I'm so excited to finally be joining Feature and Follow Friday!! This is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read  where they each feature a blogger with an interview as well as ask a question for all participating bloggers to answer. Please click the links above to follow the hosting bloggers as well as the featured bloggers and enter your own post link in the linky. Hop around to other blogs - find new blogs to follow and gain some new followers as well. Mingle and make some new blogger friends! :D

Q: Activity: Spine Poetry. Create a line of poetry with your book spines (take a picture). Not feeling creative? Tell us about your favorite poem.
I participated in my first Bout of Books this year, and one of the challenges I did was to choose a book and make an acrostic poem. I really loved what I came up with, and even though I've already posted this once, I would like to share it again. :)

  1. This is so cool! "Rare" stood out like I haven't read that word in forever. Words have such power. Did you ever watch the show Dead Like Me? I think the MC's mom hated the word moist. George (or Georgia? or neither? can't remember) used magnet letters to write the word after she died. Sorry for the ramble, first day of summer vacation for the boys is all I can say.

    1. Thank you! It was fun writing it, and now I want to make one for a ton of books! :D

I haven't seen that show, but I always wanted to. I swear I saw it on Netflix the other day. If it's there, I'm definitely watching it! It's really cool to be able to watch TV show episodes back to back. We're totally spoiled doing that. That would be so cool if my mom would communicate with me using magnet letters!! I might be a little freaked out at first, though. ;)

Speaking of Netflix, we watched all of Voyager & the original Star Trek, started The Next Generation, and now we're about to the final season of Buffy. Um, I love Spike almost as much as I love Daryl Dixon - it's getting out of hand, lol! Did you watch Buffy?

    2. I'm a total Buffy and Angel fan! Spike is the best bad guy ever! Willow and Spike are my favorite characters from the show. I'm not allowed to have Netflix because I LOVE marathons. Last time I had Netflix I caught up on all the In Plain Sight episodes. That show had the best snark. I can't wait to hear about Dead Like Me. I like that everyone is a bit of a jerk. And I'm so jealous about all that Star Trek watching!

    3. Spike is hottt! I need some Spike lovin', lol. I love it when you watch three or four episodes of a show in a row, and Netflix stops and asks, "Are you still watching such-and-such?" Like it can't believe it or something! Makes us crack up every time!

They have every season of every Star Trek show. It's crazy cakes, lol! :D Wish you had Netflix, too!
