I don't know if anyone else watches Big Brother, but it's my addiction every summer. This year the show has had to put a disclaimer for the first time ever before every episode because two of the house guests - Aaryn and Gina Marie - were spouting off all kinds of racial slurs, caught on the live feed. The disclaimer basically states that CBS isn't liable for any inappropriate things the house guests might say or do, blah blah blah.

Both girls have lost their jobs in real life though they don't know it yet, hahahaha! I think they spewed their shit about every minority out there. When one of the other house guests confronts Aaryn, she says she hasn't said anything wrong. I'm like, Wow, really??? WTF?? What really disappoints me is that CBS didn't kick these girls off the show. They should have at least been talked to by the producers, but it doesn't seem like they were. I just can't believe their audacity.

Do you watch Big Brother? What do you think?

  1. Big Brother has been my summer guilty pleasure since season 2. Did you ever watch or read The Help? Aaron reminded me of the young racist women. I'm not sure Gina Marie even knows what she's saying. She's just as clueless as David (surfer dude-is that the right name?), except with maliciousness. Seems to me when CBS were in the casting stage, they had to notice a couple things, the racism and the ridiculous lack of intelligence. They have a couple boring people like Jessie and Elissa, so did CBS cast poster kids for the rotten on purpose?

    1. I think we started watching season 3. My mother-in-law got us into it, lol. On The Soup, they quoted one of the things Gina Marie said - it was pretty damn awful. I must not have much faith left in humanity because I totally think she is evil. Truly evil and certainly malicious. I don't think Elissa is all that boring. I think the red headed guy is boring. Jessie is definitely boring. I know you're right - I'm sure they had to have cast people like Aaryn and Gina Marie on purpose. They want high ratings, and if they pick a combo of people who will clash, then that's how they'll get what they want. Love this season so far besides the racist bitches, lol.

    2. I was so wrong about Gina Marie. I have terrible reality show instincts. She is not just stupid, she's evil. The comments to Candace about her mom made my heart pound in my ears like she was attacking me! That's never happened to me from a TV show before. Who's left worth liking? I liked Judd, but the dummies thought he was a freaking mastermind. I like the dummy with the bad girlfriend and Andy with too many alliances.

    3. Had I not watched The Soup, I wouldn't have known the extent of what she said 'cause I don't think CBS ever revealed much. They're probably as appalled as everyone else. I couldn't believe the throwdown between Gina Marie and Candace - that was some crazy drama! Awful of Gina Marie to use any personal info Candace might have talked about against her. That's why if I were ever on a reality show, no one would know anything about my personal life at all. They always use it against you.

I liked Judd, but I am so confused why they all evicted him. What happened? And Elyssa said it wasn't her fault to him when he walked out the door. Something must have happened behind the scenes?

I'm sick of Aaryn as the HOH, lol. I wish McCrae could've won the HOH so Gina Marie lost. Didn't the other houseguests think McCrae was a mastermind, too? They didn't believe he's a pizza delivery guy, and I don't think they believe him still except probably Amanda.

I like McCrae, but Amanda is hard to like now. I did like her, and I still think she can be hilarious with her one liners in the diary room, but after she attacked Jessie the other episode, she seems like a total bully. I like Andy, too, but his outfit choices are like, whoa! Is that a shirt or a 5 year old's pajama top? Gosh, I sound mean! >.< But really, his shirts are kind of awful.

  2. I look forward to Big Brother every summer. I was annoyed that they had to put the disclaimer up also. I've wanted Aaryn out of the house for a while now. I think Amanda is pushing people to do what she wants too hard too soon and it's gonna backfire on her.

    1. We do, too. It has to be hard for the HOH to decide who to put up for nomination. On the one hand, you want to get your competition out of the house, but on the flip side, it might be better for your game to keep the most hated people in the house. I want Aaryn out, too! I agree about Amanda totally. She's going to put a huge target on her back if she isn't careful. >.<

  3. I don't really watch tv a lot but have seen bits here and there of Big Brother. If I was locked in a house with those people, I'd go crazy!
    Great Think Out Loud!

    1. I know I'd go crazy, lol. No TV, no Internet, no contact with family (unless you get Head of Household), no one you know...sounds like a recipe for disaster! Plus, I think I'd lose every competition. :(
