Feature & Follow Friday #5

featurefollow

I'm so excited to finally be joining Feature and Follow Friday!! This is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read where they each feature a fellow blogger and ask a question which can be answered by participating bloggers. If you aren't already following the two hosting bloggers, please visit their blogs to follow them, the bloggers they're featuring, and enter your own blog in the linky. Hop around to other blogs - find new blogs to follow and gain some new followers as well. :D

Q: What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?

My guilty pleasure is reading The Baby-Sitter Club books...and I'm THIRTY-ONE. :P I absolutely loved them growing up - my friend had just about every one of them. Once my daughter began reading chapter books, I happened to see a few at a garage sale, and she loves them as much as I did (do, haha). Our library no longer has them, so whenever I'm at Goodwill, Half Price Books, or a garage sale, I pick up a few for her. And me. I still can't seem to let them go. :D

How about you? What's your guilty pleasure? I'm dying to know! :)

  4. How great is it that your daughter loves those books too! I love your answer. I have all my favorite books my mom read to me. They've taken a hit with the crayon wielding four yr old, but I love reading them to him. Here's my FF.

    1. I know, it's so fun to be able to share books I love with her! She's halfway through Cinder right now, and I haven't even read it yet, lol! I asked her not to tell me a word until I have the chance to read it. When I told her there's a sequel, Scarlet, she was super excited. :)

Ah yes, crayon wielding, lol. My son has done that many a time and not limited to books I'm afraid, haha! When he was two, I found our refrigerator and wall had been decorated. ;) On my way to check out your FF! Thanks for stopping by! :D

    1. If you have any used book stores or Goodwill stores in your area, I guarantee there will be a ton there. They're a dollar each, well worth the money especially since my daughter loves them so much! (And I do, too!) :D
Hopping over to your blog! :) Thanks for stopping by and following!

  7. Haha..I like your guilt is so innocent. :)
I like books with killings and action and there I find myself guilty.

    1. Ah, they definitely bring back good memories. I'm still lamenting the fact that our library doesn't have them anymore, but at least they're so easy to find at used bookstores. :)

You're welcome! :D Thanks for swinging by!
