Philip, Zola's boyfriend from one hundred and fifty years ago, is not nearly as dead as we thought. I really wish he was. Not only has he kidnapped Zola, but he's raising an army to scour humanity from the earth. Hopefully the local werewolf pack will help. What could possibly go wrong?

Title: Days Gone Bad (Vesik #1)
Author: Eric R. Asher
Publication date: August 18th 2013
(First published: February 8th 2013)
Genre: Urban Fantasy, Paranormal

~ Synopsis ~

My name is Damian Valdis Vesik. I am a necromancer, an ability feared and hated as much as the powers my master and I set ourselves against. We've vanquished many evils, but now something is releasing an old darkness, forcing us to hunt an enemy beyond anything I've faced before. I was already busy enough with vampires, fairies, witches, Watchers, weddings, and... damn, I need a vacation.

First of all, both covers are ahhmazing! This is definitely a guy I want to read about. *hotness* I've signed up to review both books, so hopefully I'll have reviews coming up soon for you guys. I'm really looking forward to this series.

Secondly, I want to say I play Words with Friends against Eric, and I'd like to point out he is one bad ass mofo as an opponent! You really have to bring your "A" game when you're playing against an author, lol! ;D

I want to know what you think! Doesn't the series sound super cool? And how about those covers??

  1. If my comment posts twice, I apologize...

Wow! I was sold at seeing the cover. Yeah I'm one of those people. :) And then I read the synopses for both books and now I'm double hooked! These are definitely going on my TBR. Oh, and what is playing words with friends? Yeah, apparently I'm one of those people with this topic as well. ;)

    1. I can't help myself adoring an awesome cover especially with a hunky guy in it, lol. I can't wait to read these and hope you get to also soon. :)

Words with Friends is so much fun! I only found out about it when Alec Baldwin threw a fit on a plane a couple years ago because he was asked to turn off his phone when they were about to take off. He was like, "But I'm playing Words with Friends." LOL It's kind of like Scrabble where each person takes a turn either adding on a word or exchanging tiles. You can either play with people you actually know and/or you can play random opponents. I'm completely addicted. :) We should play against each other! I play through Facebook - it's easiest I think.
