When Liz finds a timeworn diary, and within it a locket, she discovers the secrets and desires of the young Bavarian princess who will one day grow up to be the legendary Empress of Austria. It is in the pages of the diary that these two heroines will meet, and it is through their interwoven story that Liz will discover she has the power to rewrite history—including her own…

This sounds fantastic, Jennifer! I love this sort of story so I'll definitely put it on my tbr. :)
ReplyDeleteHope things are going well with you, girl. Did your kids start school this week? I hope you're hanging in there. *hugs*
I agree! And I'm pulled in because I'm really looking forward to reading My Super Sweet Sixteen Century, and it says if you like that, you'll like this. Did that make any sense? lol
DeleteYeah, Janie started a couple weeks ago, and she seems to like junior high a lot more than fifth grade. I'm glad! I can't help but feel like I'm having a mid-life crisis - Janie's in junior high, and Jack will be starting kindergarten, then what for me?? I'm having empty nest syndrome ALREADY, and they haven't even gotten into high school and driving yet. >.< Thanks for the hugs, Brandee, I really need them! :D
I haven't heard of this one before but I really like the cover, and the story sounds pretty interesting, especially with the comparison to MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEENTH CENTURY.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Love the cover and am interested in the comparison. Definitely on my TBR. :) Thanks for stopping by, Alise! :D
