Q: Today is the US' Independence Day. Share your favorite book with a war in it, or an overthrow of the government.
Of course I love The Hunger Games, lol. That isn't a surprise. :) In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Voldemort and the Death Eaters overthrow the Ministry of Magic (thanks Wikipedia!) I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of them at the moment. >.<
What are your faves?

DeleteBoth absolutely fantastic wars where the author wasn't afraid to make sacrifices and they seemed more realistic and nail-biting for it. Excellent choices! Thank you so much for stopping by my FF. Old Follower :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.
ReplyDeleteThat's an excellent point, Jaclyn! As much as I was saddened by certain casualties in both, those sad and heartbreaking moments made the books all the more realistic. You're welcome! Thanks for stopping by! :D
DeleteI figured I would see The Hunger Games this week and it's a pretty popular choice. I didn't even think of HP, but it's an excellent choice! Love Harry!
