* Monthly Wrap Up #1 *
For me, this will not only help promote my posts any of you guys may have missed but will also allow me to evaluate my blog's content - do I post too many blitzes? Do I have enough creative content? Do I post enough reviews? Should I look into doing other types of posts?
I'd also love your feedback, so feel free to post in the comment section anything you'd like to see less of, more of, or if it's a good amount.

I've posted a lot of blitzes, and I know many bloggers shy away from those but I'll tell you why I like them so much. Many times with blitzes, I get the opportunity to have a giveaway for the book for my post, and I like to give you guys the chance to win a copy.
I only choose blitzes for books I've either read or am going to read. The same with choosing cover reveals. When I sign up for a blitz or cover reveal, I know a blog tour for that book will be coming up so it reminds me to keep an eye out for that.
I *might* be posting too many blitzes, and if you guys think I am, please feel free to let me know and make any suggestions on posts you'd rather see. :D
I'm happy with the number of reviews I post. Every blog tour I participated in this month, I chose to review the book. For this month, I posted 14 book reviews for 12 blog tours (two of the blog tours I reviewed two books).
I know for most of the books I review I give them a 4 or 5 star rating, which might seem like a lot to some bloggers, but I've been really lucky in coming across books this year that I've absolutely loved.

Looks like you had a busy month blogging. I like how you did the wrap-ups. It really did help not only with the catching up, but for new visitors as well.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you.
It was super busy. Thanks! I'm definitely going to start doing this every month, and hopefully every week, too. Nice to meet you, too! :)
Delete[ Smiles ] It's nice to know that November was a busy time for you in the blogosphere.
ReplyDeleteI am one of those people who post frequently!
I love keeping busy, lol. I've been keeping up with your posts, too. :D
DeleteYou have been on a wonderful run of good reads lately! What a list. It really shows how much you enjoy sharing with us your world of books and more, like Passion Pit and going to the Bengals with your kids.
ReplyDeleteIt's really true! There's only been one book this year I DNF'ed, and that was way back in July. Thanks, Robyn! I'm lucky to have supportive blogger friends like you! <3
DeleteWOW! You blogged a lot this month! Awesome! I've been doing monthly wraps for a while now, along with monthly TBRs and I love it! It shows you everything you've accomplished in a month, and it feels good to see all your work!
