Release Date: 07/15/14
When Hannah’s world falls apart after graduation, she finds that there are only two things from her old life that she can trust: her best friend Constance, and her fascination with Constance’s cousin Benjamin. But when Benjamin snubs her advances for superficial reasons, Hannah decides that she will have him no matter what the cost. Hannah gathers a diverse group of allies to help her finally get what she’s always wanted.
In this YA retelling of William Shakespeare’s All’s Well that Ends Well, follow Hannah as she goes to the ends of the earth in her pursuit of the ungrateful Benjamin. Are there limits to love and devotion, and is all truly well that ends well?
"Is there anything else?"
"Yes," she said, leaning forward. "Kiss me."
He nearly choked and crumbled the hundred in his hand. "W-what?"
"You heard me, Benjamin. I want to know what it's like. I want you to know what it's like. Just kiss me once and I swear I'll leave you alone."
"Go home, Hannah. You're crazy."
"Benjamin. One kiss never hurt anyone."
"I'm telling you, go home. I won't do it. Even if you somehow managed to prove to me that you've changed - I wouldn't believe you. I can't believe you."
"There has to be something I can do."
With a smirk, he reached into his shirt and pulled out a thin chain hanging from his neck. It wasn't anything particularly special, just a simple silver chain with an old ring hanging from it. It looked tarnished but Hannah could see immediately how much it meant to him. "Yeah, he said with a sarcastic grin. "When you get a hold of my great-grandmother's necklace, I'm all yours."
