Thursday July 11th was my birthday! I'm now 32, eep! :O I will say I definitely don't dress or act like what people probably think a 32-year-old should act like. I'll probably shop at Hot Topic, love Hello Kitty, and dye my hair crazy colors until I'm well into my nineties, lol. 

I got some pretty cool gifts from my husband and kids that I'd love to share with ya. My kids wished me happy birthday all day, and they were dancing up and down with excitement for me to open my gifts. My husband doesn't get home from work until eight o'clock at night, and so the wait was practically killing them! ;)

Daryl Dixon bobble head = my birthday made! <3 Love The Walking Dead, love Daryl - I'm so hot for him!! I really have a problem, lol.  

With the Buffy marathons my husband and I have been having, I've developed a major Spike obsession! He's snarky, witty, and just plain hottt - although there is nothing plain about him!! <3 

So excited to read these! In case you didn't know, the show is based from these graphic novels. I know Daryl isn't in them - his character was created for the TV show only, and thank God for that! I've been warned they're so different from the show, but I'm okay with that because I can separate the two like I try to do with books made into movies. Eep, the excitement! 

I also got two new records - the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club album and the Byrd's album Tambourine Man. I'm still looking for a Yardbirds record; however, I did buy a double disc Yardbirds album on Friday night with two of my favorite songs by them - "Heart Full of Soul" and "For Your Love." I grew up with these groups, so it's really cool to have their CDs and records for my own collection. :) 

Thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes! I'm happy to report the day after my birthday was event free - no broken ankle this year!! :D

It's really gonna suck when The Walking Dead's season three ends on the 31st. That means there's only three more episodes! :'(  I'll have to watch seasons one and two on Netflix to survive until October. It'd be really cool if Netflix would add season three before October but...yeah, that won't happen I'm sure. :/

Can I just say that I love this man? I. Love. Daryl. Dixon. <3 It's so crazy because I really hated the character the first season. But then he went off searching for a missing little girl, and my heart thawed out. A lot.

Norman Reedus just jumps off the screen as Daryl, yet he isn't on nearly as much as some of the other characters, especially this season. I heard nothing about the character until a couple months ago. Bam! Everyone seems to love him, and it just came out of nowhere. I was really shocked because most of my friends are like, "What?! You love Daryl!?"

I think the popularity of Daryl is a testament to the acting skills of Norman Reedus. And his hotness. ;) The character doesn't even exist at all in the graphic novels. I say thanks everyday to TPTB that the character was created for TV. <3
