Following me any way you'd like is fine with me!
I do like bloglovin' :D
Q: Have any pets? Tell us or show us.
A: Get ready for a picture parade, lol!
First came Charlie...
then came Charlotte...
next was Beau...
and last but not least, Billy arrived on the scene.
A lot of Billy/Beau snuggling goes on around here. <3
Beau loves to try to walk himself!
This is the least blurry pic I could get of him.
Nothing is more unsettling than seeing a cat paw suddenly appear under your bedroom door!
Charlie especially tries to get into our room at night, but we have to keep the door shut for the heater in the winter/air conditioner in the summer.
Since we're talking about pets today, I have to share this sign I saw last Halloween!
My husband and I were out with the kids trick-or-treating when I saw this sign in front of the pet grooming place. We looked at each other with WTF expressions, then we just burst out laughing!
Seriously, though, can someone explain this to me? WTF?
Sadly, our cat Charlotte ran away back in October. She used to go in and out of our window where the air conditioner didn't cover the extra space. When it started getting cold, my husband took out the air conditioner, and Charlotte didn't come back. She would never go in and out the door, so I know that she didn't think she could get back in unless it was through the window.
I miss her so much! I took the kids, and we'd go out looking for her all over the neighborhood. As cute as she is, I know someone probably took her in. :(
One of my fave things is seeing cute photos of other people's pets, so I'm excited to see yours if you have them! :)
Aww your pets are so adorable! I think Beau is the cutest! I haven't had any cats, though, since my parents don't approve of them. But I think they're pretty nice as well.

Thank you! Cats can be more work than a dog since I can let the dog out, but I don't let the cats out. Especially after losing Charlotte. Thanks for following - following you back! :)
DeleteLive Nude Dogs?? HAHA
ReplyDeleteAnd gorgeous animals! Love the little kitty paw underneath the door. Such a common sight at our house!!
I hope you visit my babies! http://nicegirlsreadbooks.com/feature-follow-friday-17/
I know, what was up with that? LOL They always have the most hilarious little sayings up on their sign. One time, it said something about pets being more awesome than your in-laws, and it rhymed and was so funny! Thanks for stopping by - off to visit you! :)
DeleteThose are some amazing looking pets and some amazing pics! I lol'd. I just love animals. Old follower :)

DeleteI'm so sorry about Charlotte, but I'm sure someone is looking after her really well! Beau is absolutely adorable and I love seeing dogs and cats getting along. I'm a new Twitter follower!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!
My Friday post

I believe someone is, too. She was the softest cat I've ever been around. I had never seen another cat with her color - she was peach and gray and white, very unusual and pretty. I do miss her a lot. I always hope one day I'll see her and can take her back in. Wherever she is, I hope she's happy. Beau loves cats. He snuggles with Charlie, too, but Charlie isn't terribly fond of snuggling except with me. :) Thanks for stopping by - off to visit you! :)
DeleteOMGosh they are sooo cute!!! Love that Beau and Billy snuggle. My Sadie and Tigger are buddies but they don't really cuddle but they do play together. So sorry to hear about Charlotte, I'm sure she has someone taking care of her (my Corgi, Boone has two other families he stays with if he gets out). Happy Friday!

Heehee, thank you, Traci! Sometimes Billy forces Beau to snuggle, lol. Beau loves Charlie and Billy. I like watching them play together. I bet Sadie and Tigger are really cute playing together. :) Thank you, I miss her terribly. I hope she's being treated well and is happy. I really wish we had waited to take out the air conditioner until she was back in the house. That one mistake... Maybe I'll see her around and bring her back. :) Happy Friday!
Deletei have a red and white cocker that everyone mistakes for a king charles!
ReplyDeleteFollowing you on Bloglovin! http://www.she-read.blogspot.com
They're both spaniels, so I can see why they'd be mistaken. :) Thanks for stopping by - visiting you now. Happy Friday! :)
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear about Charlotte that is very sad! I love your animals. They are all so adorable. ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good weekend.

Thanks, I miss Charlotte SO much! She was "my" cat. She adored me, and I adored her. Thank you, I think they're adorable too, but I'm biased. ;) Off to visit you! :)
DeleteThanks for sharing pics of your pets, Jennifer. I'm sorry Charlotte is missing - but I bet you're right in that she's getting love somewhere. :) I didn't participate today but I have 2 cats. They're sisters and it's so funny that they have similar personalities to my girls. And the cats each 'took' a girl as their own - the girl with the similar personality. It's hysterical!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Happy Friday, girlie! I hope you're having a good one and that you enjoy your weekend!
I miss her tons. I kept playing the "what if?" game until I nearly drove myself crazy. The kids were so sad. We drove around, walked around, and I asked around, lol. That's the best pet story I've ever heard - I've got to tell my daughter, she'll love it! That's so cool. I love that pets have personalities - they can be like kids sometimes, especially our dog. :) Thank you, Brandee! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! x
DeleteAww, you have such adorable pets. I'm sorry your cat ran away, my first ever cat went missing too and we were so sad. She was a young kitten and I am sure someone took her in, she was too adorable! Bloglovin' follower. Here's my FF.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I feel it so strongly that someone took her in. I'm sure someone took in your kitten when she went missing. I can't resist taking in a cute kitten. There are so many strays in our neighborhood because we live next to the fairgrounds. My in-laws feed many of them (they live across the street from us), and they've captured all the females to get fixed but two. Those two they can't catch are too wild. My mother-in-law was covered in scratches trying to catch them. All of our cats are from litters born to the strays they feed on their front porch. Charlie followed us home from their house all the time, and he was the first cat we took in. We caught Charlotte and brought her home. Billy hung around our house and followed us home from their house, too, so we took him in. Now, I have another kitten from their house that's hanging around our house. I'd like to take her in, especially since she's very affectionate AND my in-laws offered to pay to have her spayed!! Thanks for stopping by - off to visit you! :)
DeleteI remember hearing a cereal box crash from the top of the fridge, and then I found Charlotte on top of the cabinets, lol. She's a rebel! Thanks, I happen to think they're adorable, too, but I'm biased. :) Gosh, I was hoping someone would know what they meant by their sign but also glad to know I didn't miss out on some huge joke! They usually have something funny on their sign. They sure get my attention. Thanks for visiting - off to visit you now! Have a super weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteYour pets are super cute!!!! I have two kitties and love them to bits.
ReplyDeleteI do hope that Charlotte does find her way home. My heart would just break if one of my cats went missing :( *hugs*
Chanzie @ Mean Who You Are.
Have you posted photos of them? I'd love to see them! *off to stalk your Instagram, lol*
DeleteThank you, Chanzie! I hope she does, too, but if not, then I hope she's very happy where she's staying and getting lots of love. :)
Adorable little cuties! That's so sad about Charlotte, she had beautiful colouring!
ReplyDeleteThea @ Gizzimomo's Book Shelf
Thank you, Thea! It really is sad - she looked like no other cat I've ever seen. She was so pretty with her peach and gray colors. I hope she's happy wherever she is! :)
DeleteOh my gosh, I'm so sad for you about Charolette. I hope the family that took her in needed her so much, that's all I can think. Those pictures are awesome! I love little paws under the door. I miss having pets. I haven't taken one in since I had to give our cat away because Will kept pouncing on her and she kept taking it poorly. One day, we'll have a cat or dog...or both! Great pictures. I just loved them!
ReplyDeleteYeah, me too. I hope they're giving her love and adoration! Thanks, Robyn, I look forward to the day when you guys get pets and I can stalk your photos of them. ;)
DeleteOh wow! Glad to see they get along!! So many pets. Love it. Thanks for stopping by :D
ReplyDeleteFor the most part they all get along. Billy gives Charlie a hard time. Charlie's older and out of the kitten play stage, but Billy isn't a year old yet and still wants to play. I asked my friend about what she fed her guinea pigs, and she mentioned apples and I think carrots. I saw a detailed reply on your blog that looked super helpful. Again I must say they're adorable! :)
DeleteHahaha the paw under the door is the best!
